Membership

International Association of PAMI-KOL Instructors

and

PAMI-KOL Martial Arts Association

PAMI-KOl exists through two member associations.

The International Association of PAMI-KOL Instructors (IAPI)

and the PAMI-KOL Martial Arts Association (PMAA).

International Association of PAMI-KOL Instructors

The International Association of Pami-Kol Instructors (IAPI)  is the governing body over PAMI-KOL.  This  association has the authority to sanction promotions, modify standards and guidelines, as well as provide governance over the PMAA (see below.)  The IAPI is a committee comprised of Galo Enriquez (aka; Kaplag (The Founder)), and teaching Certified Instructors in good standing.  Certified Instructors actively teaching are required to pay an annual  membership fee  to the IAPI in order to maintain their “Instructor” status.  Failure to be an IAPI member in good standing prevents a PAMI-KOL instructor from having his/her students promotions recognized by the PMAA.   The membership fee helps pay for the continued development of Pami-Kol standards.

IAPI Responsibilities

Standards

The IAPI will authorize the official Beginning to Advanced Standards.  These standards will be published and available to all IAPI members in good standing.  Changes, modifications and enhancements to standards will be released annually.  Interim releases may be made available if the IAPI requires them. The IAPI will be responsible for developing teaching guidelines, class governance guidelines, and practical application training suggestions.

Student Promotions

IAPI members will submit a students application for promotion to the IAPI for sanctioning .  (See promotion sanctioning process section)  There will be a processing fee for IAPI promotion sanctioning. Once approved, the student will receive a "Certificate" from the PMAA sanctioning their rank will be registered in the PMAA database.   Only sanctioned promotions will be recognized by either the Pami-Kol Martial Arts  Association (PMAA) or the International Association of PAMI-KOL Instructors (IAPI.)

PAMI-KOL Martial Arts Association

The Pami-Kol Martial Arts Association (PMAA) is a “students” of Pami-Kol association (this includes teaching and non-teaching Certified Instructors).   The PMAA is governed by the International Association of PAMI-KOL Instructors. All students of Pami-Kol must be a member of the PMAA  in order to practice Pami-Kol.  This requires an application process and registration into the Pami-Kol database.  There is an annual dues paid to the PMAA over and above any class fees.  This covers the cost to maintain the association (admin, website, printing fees, etc..), as well a provide on-going Pami-Kol Martial Arts student informational material.
